Sabi Sands Game Reserve is relatively easily accessible, please read below posts for our transportations:
Sabi Sands is a private game reserve, day visitor and self-drive are not allowed. You need to stay in one of their Lodges, game drive with trained rangers will be provided by the Lodges. One of their major advantages is the rangers are allowed to drive off road, which is strictly prohibited in Kruger National Park, to follow wild animals in the bush, believe me, it is an amazing experience.
During the game drive, the ranger told us that to protect the bush, they will only drive off road when following a relatively rare wild animals, they are doing their best to protect the natural environment.
There are quite a lot of accommodations in Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Finally our choice was The Dulini Collection and we were very pleased with our selection. There are 3 Lodges under The Dulini Collection, we stayed at 2 of them, 2 nights at Leadwood Lodge and another 2 nights at Dulini Lodge.
The room rate is not cheap, but it is all inclusive, all meals, beverages, game drives (twice a day) … are included in the rate.
Our itinerary:
- 5:30am: Wake up call
- 5:45am: Morning coffee
- 6:00am: Morning game drive

- On the third day, we had bush walk after breakfast
