Amangalla

Amanglla, formerly the New Oriental Hotel was located in Galle, within the premises of Galle Fort – The UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The oldest building of the hotel was built by the Dutch in 1684, and the complex was completed in 1715, and converted into the New Oriental Hotel in 1865. In 2005, it became a hotel under the Aman Resorts group and renamed as Amangalla.
