Day tour (1) – My Son Sanctuary

Day 2, we had a day trip to My Son Sanctuary.

My Son, the name in Vietnamese means “Beautiful Mountain”

My Son Sanctuary is a UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, constructed between 4th and 13th centuries by the Kings of Champa.

Unfortunately, majority architecture of My Son Sanctuary was destroyed byU.S. carpet bombing, aerial bombing and during the Vietnam War.
