We originally planned to have a New Year Eve Teppanyaki dinner at Yamanami (in Keio Plaza Hotel) which serve Hida beef 飛彈牛 and Kobe Beef神戶牛. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked in all dinner slots during our stay, very good business.
We picked our 2nd choice – Mon Cher Ton Ton.
Yes, it was our 2nd choice for Teppanyaki, but It doesn’t mean Yamanami is better than Mon Cher Ton Ton. The only reason was because we didn’t want to go to the same restaurant for both Teppanyaki (Mon Cher Ton Ton) and Shabu-Shabu (Seryna 瀨里奈)
Reamrks: Mon Cher Ton Ton and Seryna are the same restaurant with different brand name.
A long corridor to separate the area for Teppanyaki and Shabu-Shabu
Ready for Teppanyaki
We ordered 2 sets, “Seryna Dinner” and “Kobe Beef Dinner”
Seryna dinner: Otohshi
Kobe beef dinner: On the spoon (3Kinds)
Kobe beef dinner: Carpaccio of seasonal fish
Kobe beef dinner: Teppan grilled foie gras
Seryna dinner: Appetizer
Kobe beef dinner: Teppan grilled abalone
Seryna dinner: Teppan grilled fresh prawn & scallops
Salad
Left – Kobe beef dinner: Kobe beef sirloin steak
Right – Seryna dinner: Chiba beef sirloin steak
Vegetables
